Learn about our farm

Our farm is part of a nationwide network called “WELCOME TO OUR FARM” (“Bienvenue à la ferme”) and you can drop in or, better, make an appointment to visit us any time.

The visit starts with a short history of the origins of llamas and a description of their main features, presented on wide-screen audiovisual equipment.  Then you will go out to meet these loveable, curious animals in their fields.  You will be able to feed them titbits and even hug them – yes! We DO mean hug them.

The visit lasts for about an hour and a half and Christine and Eric are there throughout to answer all the questions you may ask about these unusual, peaceful and quiet animals who suffer from the TOTALLY unjustified reputation of being bad-tempered and spitting at everybody.

You will also be able to purchase a souvenir of your visit to the “LAMAS DU VAL D’AZUN” farm in our little shop, where we sell items made from llama and alpaca fibre (some imported from Bolivia under the “fair trade” principle).
