Llama breeding
Should you be thinking of buying a llama - just as a pet, to graze and grace your land, for brush clearance or for trekking – we could offer you a suitable one, depending upon availability of course.
Learn about our farm
Our farm is part of a nationwide network called “WELCOME TO OUR FARM” (“Bienvenue à la ferme”) and you can make an appointment to visit us any time.
The visit starts with a short history of the origins of llamas and a description of their main features, presented on wide-screen audiovisual equipment.
Learn from our farm
Not only can you learn about our farm but you can also learn from it. We organize visits for schoolchildren (theme holidays, nature study, outings) and students – from the infants’ school right up to technical college level.
Pet therapy
Christine and Eric, the owners of the farm, are convinced that the company of animals undoubtedly has a beneficial impact on the well-being and balanced state of mind of us humans so they have founded an association which promotes activities such as introducing llamas to the mentally or physically disabled or to persons who are simply in difficulty. They receive groups or individuals for day visits and take individual cases into their family home for longer periods.
Llama trekking
We are ideally situated close to a major hiking path, the “GR 10” and the scenic walk round the Azun valley “Tour du Val d’Azun”, which means that there are numerous possibilities for trekking and exploring the Pyrenees National Park.
Fairs, fêtes and shows
Our llamas can come to your home (in France), to fair or show grounds or local fêtes.
We choose the animals to suit the purpose of the show or fête. Eric and Christine stay with them throughout the event, as safety is the keyword of all our activities.
